The formulations of the Nickel Solution components were designed with convenience and sensitive skinned individuals in mind, specifically:

• Nickel Alert is an updated and simplified dimethylglyoxime (DMG) test. The ingredients have been integrated for ease of use. DMG nickel spot tests have been utilized for years in dermatology to detect the presence of available nickel in concentrations as low as 1:10,000.
• Nickel Guard uses technology recommended by leading dermatologists to prevent nickel dermatitis. Nail polish has long been recommended to protect individuals from nickel containing jewelry. However, some nickel sensitive individuals were more susceptible to allergic reactions to ingredients in the nail polish. Nickel Guard does NOT contain Toluene, Formaldehyde or Dibutyl Phthalate which could cause secondary contact dermatitis. Furthermore, the formula used in Nickel Guard creates a strong bond with metal items and is much less susceptible to chipping thus, reducing the chances of instantly exposing the individual to nickel.
